Conceived by Purva Bharati Educational Trust, this vibrant space in Tarajan Kakotigaon, Jorhat, brings together changemakers who believe in equity, expression, and shared futures. It is envisioned as a hub of feminist thought, activism, and creativity.
A Name That Holds Us Together
KAMASI derives from the Dimasa language of Assam and means “the state of being one or together”, a powerful expression of unity and solidarity. The word reflects a collective spirit that transcends boundaries and brings people together in shared purpose.
